Our Story:

HealedAtHome was born from both personal experience and professional insight. As founders, we cared for our loved ones while working within the healthcare system, witnessing the barriers families face and the profound difference that healing at home can make. Surrounded by love and familiarity, home offers comfort, dignity, and peace no facility can replicate. From this truth, our mission was sparked to bridge healthcare and homecare by equipping families with the tools, training, and support to confidently care for their loved ones. HealedAtHome exists to ensure individuals with chronic illness, disabilities, or aging challenges receive skilled, compassionate care in the place they know best, home. This is more than a business; it is a calling, a passion, and a movement built on love, experience, and the belief that true healing begins at home.
Jules D. Thomas is the Co-Chief Executive Officer of HealedAtHome Health Care, bringing over twenty years of experience in human services, direct care, and healthcare
coordination. His leadership is shaped by his personal journey supporting his mother through a prolonged illness, which instilled a deep compassion for families navigating care. With a career spanning service coordination, crisis intervention, therapeutic recreation, parole services, and case management, Jules combines broad expertise with a hands-on, empathetic approach. He is committed to ensuring every client receives care that is personal, respectful, and supportive.
Malikh Butler is the Co-CEO of HealedAtHome Health Care, a home care agency dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. With over
two decades of experience in mental health, child welfare, and long-term support services, she has worked across hospitals, schools, courts, and residential programs to coordinate care, advocate for vulnerable populations, and navigate Medicaid, Medicare, and public health systems. Her commitment is also personal, shaped by her experience caring for her father alongside hospice teams, which gave her firsthand insight into the challenges families face and fuels her passion to lead with empathy, excellence, and integrity while ensuring every client is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
